We had to plan a science investigation to test which parachute would be best to save the Iron man. We investigated whether the size, shape, weight, material and whether the material had holes in would affect how quickly the Iron man fell. We have to make sure that we planned and conducted a fair test.

On Science Day we investigated air resistance. We looked at the air resistance acting on the parachute and also when we travelled at different speeds and with different sized pieces of paper. We then carried out an investigation into how the size, material and shape of a parachute affected the amount of air resistance .
